On a side note, I had gotten it down {whine} when I switched to a stainless oil filter but then used different brand oils for my 1/2 mile events so noise was back again. But now.....big difference and we do not know why. We have some very smart tech's at my shop and we pulled apart new E55 oil pump to see what could be going on .....had lots of theory but nothing concrete.
So it looks like this Bizol oil is a keeper for now and it is the correct spec so that's great. I did cost me $90.00 and my old Mobil 1 was only 200 miles old!! Bought my oil at Eeuroparts

and did you use the 5 40 or 0 40? green or all around?

I'd like to know exactly what you used too. If that oil quieted this motor up that much then it's a keeper!

I used the 0-40 all around and still happy with noise reduction.I do not know what the hell is going on in that pump but I will live with a little noise. I have seen more you tube video's with the same crazy sound as well in many E55's.
