Wide Body Modifiction
Any wide body modifiction have been done to W211 E55? I have seen some nice wide version (+5cm) E55 in Japan and they claim it's made by Daimler Chrysler AG KOB and ZAKSPEED......anyone have information? Japanese got some nice stuff

It's amazing that Japan being such a small country gets so much more with regards to Mercedes Options. The US is the largest and the options list are mush lower than what Japan gets. Japan has had wide body AMG cars coming from the factory for many years. I have even seen W210 E55 Wide Bodys in a Japanese euro car magazine called Genroq!

I have heard of some japanese companies doing widebody's. I also know that VATH has a widebody for the W211 out too. I am planning on doing it way later down the line...It will probably gonna be a custom job...

I got it from the same Jap. magazine "GENROQ"......pic quality is not good....will try to fix it and post again.

There is a company in Japan called ****pit 21 that supplies a kit for the W211 wide body conversion....I'm not too sure whats included and whats not....

It is about 5cm wide for this setup....they replace the whole fender.
The Vath modifiction gives about 8cm more.

My guess is that for the front they supply the whole fender where as the rear they only supply and extensition that might have to be welded on to the original fender.
