E63 steering rack onto a E55

I've heard 04 guys installing 05/06 steering racks but has anyone installed a e63 07-08 one ??? Would be a really nice addition.

2016 E63 S AMG Wagon
My wagon is a Canadian import. No info on Canadian cars at mbusa, and I don't know the equivalent Canadian authority. Would appreciate if anyone could help.

I’ve seen some with 100k+ miles go for around 10-15k and some snaptube vidmate with 160k+ for around 9k.
If the E55 is suppose to be so much more reliable, why is there so many threads concerning issues with the car. The E63 isn't without it's own issues. The head bolts issue is over-rated, and there are tons of cars with very high mileage with the same head bolts on them.
The cams and lifters is also a known issue, but not are cars have this issue. When owner wait to 10,000 miles between oil changes, then yes wear will occur. So don't believe everything you read on this forum, talk to a E63 owner and get their respective.

the M113k may be faster....but the M156 sounds like the battle of war.

I have a 06 E55 with coil-over conversion. My stock 2006 CLS55 still handle better. I don't think steering rack of 05/06 better than 03/04.

I have an e55 and a e63 but the e63 is a wreck so havent driven it "much".

I didnt notice a massive difference between the two.

What I would really like to do is figure out how to retrofit the electric steering out of a w212. Those things steer amazing compared to a w211 I have a w212 E350 and the steering feel is just light years ahead of a w211 chassis car.
