What is the housing fog light base type on the E63 fog lights from the Suvneer/Gary Lo's E63 conversion kit to 55 ?

It's not H7 as it comes with when ordered. The H7 bulb goes into a bulb socket which is then connected to the E63 fog light. Trying to get a LED/HID in there. The factory harness looks like a 9006 connector. Just looking for a plug & play deal into E63 fogs of the Suvneer kit

This is what comes with E63 fog light conversion kit. This socket base holds a H7 bulb internally and is then attached to fog light housing. So the base is not H7. Just trying to figure out the base socket style. This way I can get the correct bulb/base to plug right into fog housing. (Everything is mounted up on the car already)

Were you able to determine which application to order for the LED fog light conversion for the e63 ? I ordered the h7 kit but it didn't fit the housing

I just replaced my Fog Lights Bulbs on my E63, just a few months ago, it's an H11.

And I don't think that anyone makes a HID style fog light bulb. I personally would like a fog light bulb that is white like my HID headlights, and not yellowish like the OEM fog lights.

H11 Bulb, but H7 electrical connector by use of adapter. its rather tricky to fit anything in place of the factory bulbs since the adapter uses a proprietary shape. the shape supposedly is the same as the E39/46 BMW and can adapt the use of HID's using this adapter found online.
