m156 engine ticking sound

Hi everyone,
Just writing to give updates after trying Ceratec today with an oil change. I think the engine works 30% quieter. For some reason my engine sounds a little like a Diesel engine when sitting inside the car in a quiet place with tranny in D. This cannot be heard from the front of the car with bonnet open; only from the inside.
After the oil change with Ceratec today, that sound is almost gone.
I think it is a grea stuff and Thank You Macedon for the suggestion.

0W-40 has the better wear inhibitors. 5W-40 helps Mercedes not need to replace as many catalytic converters and by the time less wear inhibitors causes an engine problem it is out of warrantee.

Interesting opinion as many people in this forum claim that 5w-40 is better. I use 0-40, but was actually thinking of switching to 5-40 come warmer months.

AMG Academy uses 0W-40, Mobil1

Another person over here said that Amg Academy recommended 5-40. Go figure who is right who isn’t: who has been to the academy, who hasn’t.
