Improving factory Xenon headlamps

Improving factory Xenon headlamps
I'm at that point where I'm ready to replace the lens covers on my factory Xenon adaptive headlights. What can we do to improve/upgrade the internals while we have them apart?
I've read that replacing the factory fresnel projector lens with a clear lens, such as the ZKW-R, is a good improvement. What about replacing the entire projector?
Any other components to look at replacing?
Thanks for any help here!

Clean the reflector with a plush microfiber cloth and mild soap and water. Replace HID bulbs with new bulbs.
Fresnel lenses contain reflection rings to evenly disperse light as well as disperse it softly. If replaced with a clear lens you'll see improved brightness through hot spots but also see scattered light elsewhere. I personally prefer the Fresnel lenses.

I suppose you could swap out the projectors with something else. The 14yr wires in my non xenons were missing all of their insulation, so i opted replace the whole units with sypder assembles. However the light output from the spyders projectors was absolutely horrible. I bought a set of morimoto Mini H1 with morimoto HIDs. Relatively easy install, I did not even have to take the lenses off.
Next time would try the DS 4.0 or the BI-LED from morimoto

Don't want to hijack this conversation, but does anybody know of brighter bulbs that I could replace mine factory ones with? I have adaptive factory Xenon on 2007 E63, that aren't that bright - they are like a good bright halogens. I am wondering if I could by brighter bulbs while keeping wires/blocks stock?

I hate investing in factory bulbs only to find out that they aren’t much brighter than what I have. My headlights emit white light at first, but then turn yellow-ish. What color are yours after the swap? I am looking for white light.
