E55 VRP UNDERHOOD TANK IATs?

Im trying to avoid the rear tank because I'm planning down the road to add a different air suspension so i need that space for the air pump. Does anyone have any idea of IAT reduction numbers with this kit, I rather have this then that bmw resovouir and its a lot easier to install besides the grinding to make room for the tank. I would love to hear someones take on it who has it on their car.

I have it with an upgraded bosh pump but Unfortunately I'm not monitoring anything at this time so I can't give you concrete numbers.

I have one and it is perfect for how I race. It will hold 3 bags of ice and keeps temps at 115* on 1/2 mile runs and 15lb's of boost.
If I where going to 1 or 1.5 mile events than the trunk tank - 5 gallon - would be needed.
As usual, for information on normal driving as in just installing the tank and running it,temps where around 5-10* lower in the beginning but would level out back to normal. The extra water "slowed" the temp increase but if you keep running it hard ...not a big change.

Sort of off topic here but any idea how much coolant hose you used to install your tank?

lol the forums has me cracking, the iats are around 10 degree reduction from what he told me, makes sense too its a small tank but i need it just for daily driving since i have a fixed pulley.

10* less temps by adding a reservoir, not using ice? I'm skeptical but I will keep my fingers crossed for you Be sure to let us know how it goes for you if you pull the trigger.

However, for the price I would strongly recommend skipping the tank and going with methanol injection tapped into the window wiper reservoir instead. Since you are just using it for DD you might not care to do it but I use -30 detergent free wiper fluid which is just a straight mix of water/meth, works for both cleaning the windshield and cooling the intake, you even get a nice warning on the dash when it's low and costs $3 to top off haha.
