Shardul- crazy question...I've got your BWK and am wondering which S/C belt length do I need for stock upper & lower pulleys, and your ASP 3 piece idler kit? Thx!

Then you probably dont have a stock crank pulley. Maybe go up a size
530 is the side we use with out any issues.

Does your 77mm SC pulley come with a new belt?

And stupid question from a new E55 owner, is a tune necessary to use the pulley, or preferable?

No it does not come with a new belt.
You will need a ECU calibration for safety and power and yes it is preferred.
