3 weeks doesn't sound like much but I did the Headbolts, engine mounts, intake gasket, etc and the car has been sitting since Jan, I need to move the car to clean up underneath and my driveway is setup so I wouldn't be able to push it back inside if I pushed it outside, so its stuck until my parts are made and sent. I'm sure you will like the look of your headers once you get them, if you plan on installing them yourself you will need to buy gaskets, 11mm copper nuts and studs and be prepared to remove the small subframe and steering rod to get to the bolts, its a difficult job and I found myself wishing I had access to a machine shop to modify a 11mm ratchet wrench. If you are worried about scratching the sides of the pipes getting them onto the block you might want to tape them up, they rub going in...no way around that. You are unable to see the rub marks but something I thought about while I was fitting them to the block. Oh, I was only able to find the 11mm copper nuts at one place on fleabay, and they took a week or so to get. I do remember seeing them elsewhere but the cost was twice as much as the bmw 10mm copper nuts. If you plan on using your old stuff I have a few good/used nuts left over and will ship them on your dime. All in all it was a fun project, I would rather do the headbolt job but I took my time and walked away when I was getting frustrated. I don't own a lift, and used jack stands in my garage.
