Can you find the Clear bra?
Had a clear bra installed last week in Georgia. Am very pleased with the installation. Its a different product from the 3m. The installer demonstrated to me that this product is tougher than the 3m product by letting me try to stick a pen through both. This is not only much tougher but more resilient to seal the hole. I had everything covered, including the door cups, door edges, mirrors, all bumper and lights. Only thing visable is a thread line across the hood that you have to look at an angle to see.
The installer (Mike Messer) is Dynashielf certified installer and the product is Llumor film. It carries a lifetime warranty against peeling or yellowing. So far I am a happy camper.

I got mine installed in PR, it's great. I had an M3 before and it had it also. The instalation was done only on the bumper and the front fender wings on both cars.
Mine was $300 for the E55 and $200 for the M3.

Is that solid over the grille? Or do they cut out the holes? Wouldn't cooling efficency be greatly compromised by blocking off the front grille?
Maybe I'm special ed on this one but It appears to be covered by the clear bra. just curious

It is not on the grill, however the grill is removed to wrap the material under hood edges. There are no exposed edges save the one that goes across the hood. You wash and wax as normal.

Really considering getting the Clear Bra installed since paint chips on the hood of my autos are the bane of my existence especially with the soft, easily chipped paint of a Mercedes. Again, is there any problems with washing and waxing and how is the durability. Does it discolor over time and need to be replaced frequently? Any other problems encountered?
