99 Corvette, 04 BMW M3 (Wife's car), 04 Mercedes E55.
Picked it up Saturday !
Well I decided to take the 04 E55 that I have been waiting on since November. I gotta say, I was kinda worried about a couple things after following some of the chat on here and other forums.
The brakes concerned me as I have heard some people talk about how "disconnected" the brake pedal was... I have to say, I was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED at how great the brakes and brake feel is.
I also heard how the car seems heavy and doesnt handle that well... again another pleasant surprise... very agile and quick in and out of turns.
My other car is a C5 Corvette convertible and my wife just took delivery of a BMW M3 convertible so I was hoping that the E55 didnt seem like a big boring sedan compared to those cars. So far, I am VERY impressed with this car in the short 200 miles I have driven it ! (I'll let you know if that impression changes.)
I ordered it with: White / Charcoal Interior, Parktronic, Tire Pressure Monitor, Pwr Rear Sunshade, 6 Disc CD, Keyless Go, Comfort Pkg, Lighting Pkg.
