Just got it. Just like it sits. Running a little on the rough side. Possibly only on 4 cylinders. Car cuts off sometimes. Engine noise as well.

Misfires on most or possibly all cylinders.

But hey, got it for cheap.

I was planning to have my mechanic rebuild the upper half but I randomly came across a thread somewhere...

The thread in question said, "I have both my cam adjusters replaced and all 4 cam shafts under the TSB"

Was wondering if this means anything such as if it is under some kind of warranty.

This really depends on the period of coverage on the TSB. As it might mean certain models years, if applicable then yes it should be covered. As your dealership for more information.

I doubt you'll get it covered under warranty since the car is now 11 years old. They did extend the warranty on the leaking fuel tank to 15 years though.

These cars also have issues with the head bolts.

quite possible that the adjusters are faulty causing issue.

No, there is no extended warranty on them. The bulletin was saying, if you had a car with adjuster problems, to check the cams and replace all as needed. It did not change warranty coverage or extend it, if you're out, you're out.
