Best place to get a torque converter for an E55?

Best place to get a torque converter for an E55?
Like the title says... I want to see if replacing it will solve my intermittent vibration at 90+ mph (sometimes it's there, sometimes it isn't, shows up after hard acceleration)
70mph grandpa driving: smooth
accelerate hard to 100+ mph and let go of the gas=vibration, go back to 70-75mph, vibration is still there, give it some time, it disappears.
It's at 115k miles on the dash almost, it's gotta be the TC going out. Gotta get it out of there before it takes the whole tranny with it.

It's probably your tires when was the last time you had them balanced. High speed driving requires fine tuning. I have a stock converter with 70k on it that I swapped for a 3k stall if you are interested wouldn't want much for it.

Not sure if you are on the AMG enthusiast FB page, but there was recently a thread that you can search for. An OEM replacement can be had for ~$250 if I recall correctly, or there are several options for an upgraded unit.

Poke around at the local dealer parts dept. or some techs there to see where they send TC's for rebuilds, I did this and got it done for $90 - dealer would have charged $500 from the same re-builder..Winning!
