Your other option is to buy a smaller supercharger pulley if you don't already have one. Otherwise ebay seems to be the easiest place to get genuine bearings that I have seen. There are a number of good DIY writeups on the forum on how to do it. As long as the SC bolt comes out and the pulley will actually slide off it is not too difficult.

You have your other car right? Just take your time, buy the parts you need as you can afford them, everyone on here will help you DIY if you need it, otherwise there are lots of excellent resources. If you are not in a hurry these cars can be a lot cheaper to fix. I am happily driving my mr2 everyday while FCP is putting together a parts list for my fuel system replacement. I expect it will save me over $1500 on the local cost from the dealer here even with international shipping, taxes, inspection fees etc.

Removing the belt is the first thing you should have done! If a bearing is bad, remove the driving force from it.

Don't even get me to tell you about the individual I know who had a front wheel bearing go bad but they continued to drive the vehicle until the wheel was almost cut in half from rubbing against the brake caliper! When confronted by something unknown, stop, think, reflect, analyze, then act to limit damage in the most optimal method possible. May not be the result wanted, but it will be better than doing nothing.

you are racing with your sc bearing in the condition its in ? -- maybe time for a new fixed pulley - cheap and linear power / no sc engagement

I don’t think you noticed I’m stupid, but yea he ate **** looool didn’t expect that to happen he was so confident. Jerry wouldn’t tune if I got a fixed, he said it’s bad for the engine.

Use minimum throttle possible. The supercharger bypass valve works inverse to the throttle plate. i.e. 0% (closed) on throttle plate equals 100% (open) on bypass valve. 25% (partially open) on throttle plate equals 75% (partially closed) on bypass valve. You want to minimize airflow through the supercharger if it is not driven. I once drove a Miata with a seized Roots-style supercharger from Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, to San Antonio, Texas. Talk about down on power! But it made it back.

You are making your dad take the belt off? It takes about 4 seconds if you know what you're doing. Take a minute or two and get you're hands in there. Learn about your car, it's a good thing. Get a 17mm 12 point socket, or a box end wrench to pry the tensioner back, Pull the cover off and go.
