ESP ABS SRS errors while driving
Hi guys
Had a strange issue with my 2005 E55 last night.
Drove from Boston to NYC (4hrs straight) and with few miles left to my house (and going on local streets from light to light) my car started acting up funny.
ESP message (in the cluster) came on , then ABS, then SRS, high adjustment, then speedometer would flicker and my Coolant gauge stopped working while Drive mode/ gear indicator (S M D) disappeared as well. So I pulled over and shut off the car but then I couldnt turn it back on. Carly for MB app scanned whole bunch of codes (too many to list). I cleared it but it still wouldnt crank. Carly errors kept coming back. No cranking whatsoever. Car wouldnt move out of P as well. Headlights would flicker randomly like its possessed. Alarm, horn, interior lights worked fine. UB voltage in the cluster said 12.3 / 12.4 with ignition on.
Just some side info, i drove without a stop. weather around 85-90F at night. I washed a car back in Boston and made a quick stop to fill up before starting the trip.
Also my 1 headlight is on its way out (purple) and started flickering and going in/out with 80 miles left to go. I know the light was bad before starting the trip.
So as a last resort i disconnected the accessory battery under the hood and reconnected it. The car started and I drove home. Then i scanned for codes again and it seemed like Carly scanned LESS modules then usual. 26 instead of 44. My acc battery is only few months old. original MB from FCPeuro.
Any ideas?
thank you!

battery came with the car when I got it about a year ago. it does not look like an original battery. i tested it few months ago with a battery tester and it looked good but maybe i wasn't it testing it right.
do you guys sell main batteries for e55 since I already have AUX batt from you?
I will try driving with Battery gauge on and see if there are any dips in V.

battery or charging system issue. When running voltage should be higher than 12.4. I believe mine is in the 13+ volts range with AC/Headlights on last I checked?

here is an update:
----------------------------------------------
Mercedes diag menu in the cluster (dome lights are on since the door is open):
key pos1 : UB 12.5 / 12,6
key pos2 (cluster lights on): UB 12.4
car started (idle): 13.8 / 13.9 (during startup drops briefly to high 10s)
BTW UB reading is for the main batt correct?
-----------------------------------------------
Main battery part# Duralast Gold H8-DLG (not original)
sticker on the side: 7/17
specs: https://www.autozone.com/batteries-s...1_333431_25698
quick info: cold crank 900, 32F 1000
------------------------------------------------
Quickly ran Carly for MB rescanning all the modules, cleared all faults and scanned again. Following errors keep coming back
Airbag: Fault in CAN comm with control unit - 10 errors - code 00907 C/D/E...
Audio/Nav/Comm: SDAR - Satellite radio (MB: 2208703589) - Fault: the supply voltage of the control unit is too low (undervoltage): code 00D010)
AGW - Audio Gateway (MOST network management, diagnosis, radio tuner)(MB 2118272562). Fault: Rate - current config of MOST optical ring is different. Code 00D117
Systems: BCM - battery control module (MB 2115408745) - Fault: Not Relevent Code 009020 009010
Fault: Component K57/2 (aux batt relay) or signal wire to the component is faulty. Code 009071
Fault: Component G1/7 (aux batt) is defective or not installed. Code 009092
System diagnosis (MB: 2115403545) Fault: Sync of the DTC mem cannot be ensured: Not Relevent Code 00930E
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
notes:
Since the only thing i did when my car stopped working was disconnect the Aux batt, i re-tightened AUX bolts today (before running the scans)
Also Audio/Nav/Comm and System diagnosis (only DTC error) were always present since I had the car.
Hopefully this helps to pinpoint the issue
thank you guys again

This place is a joke.
Yes, check your central gateway for water intrusion caused by condensation dripping from the far left driver's AC vent. It's attached to the driver's underdash panel. Here's a helpful hint: unclip the central gateway from the panel, turn it upside down and screw the panel back in place. Water cannot get inside that way- good preventative maintenance for everyone else also.
