Did you have the milkshake in your oil as well? I read your post that said 3 bolts had snapped.

Anyway, turned out the camshaft adjusters on the passenger side took a dump. It was at least one of them, so I opted to swap both for the revised versions. Car runs great now.
Moral of the story: if you're able, do the head bolts one-by-one before they go and you'll save a load of money. Once the gasket is compromised, that door will be closed.
