Installed the Eurocharged tune a little over a week ago on my box-stock 2005 E55. Noticeable increase in power; it's not a crazy increase but it put a smile on my face. (Thanks Dave and Adam!)
Worst part was when I saw the software on-screen with words to the effect of, "Your ECU's stock program is now erased" just before it begins loading the new program. I had a few seconds thinking, "Oh, my God. What if it crashes before fully loading? I'll be stuck with an inoperable car!". I was never as happy as I was when it reached 100%. And the program did give the warning about missing packets and I did just "x" out the error message per the EC instruction sheet.
Now, if I were to buy another E55, I would install a Weistec supercharger, mid-length headers with high-flow exhaust, ECU tune, limited slip differential, and modify the rear sub-frame attachment points. Nothing too wild...
