Easiest Cheapest Plug And Play Bluetooth and USB Audio
2005 E55 without Command. I have found no updated posts on this subject. I am looking for the easiest and cheapest plug and play Bluetooth and usb audio device for my system? All that I have is the aux connection in the glove compartment but want usb for my iPhone music. Suggestions?

I use something like the above too. I've also spliced into the 12V cigarette source and ran another power source into the glovebox to keep the bluetooth device always charged.

It sounds like you are asking about plug in dongles but you could consider a head unit replacement, its not as hard as it sounds. I decided to put in a pioneer touch screen. No navigation, just bluetooth I never use and USB in the glovebox which is my main music source. Looks fairly smart, gets rid of 2005 tech and will automatically sync with your phone, control from the steering wheel etc. If you have an Harmon Kardon system then installation is pretty easy, Bose not so much.

Sorry, I do have command. I thought command was voice activation. Is there any kind of stock radio interface? Something that will plug straight into the IPhone? https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F302794329080 .. maybe this?

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I want to use the stock system since I just bought a new gateway. I want something hard wired that plugs into the back of the radio or cd changer. I would like it to dock on the dash. Cheap would be around $100 (obviously less is better). Thank you everybody else for chiming in. If there is nothing else out there I might just be going that way.

I was looking at the CarPro Coolstream but didn't want to pay the $80. It's Bluetooth and connects to the old ipod adapter in the glovebox. I like it because it retains steering wheel controls and most importantly shows the iphone (mine is a X) music folders/menu on the command screen. Many of Bluetooth connections won't show the menus/folders on the screen nor can you utilize the steering wheel controls; and thus costs much less.
so if anyone finds something similar to the Carpro Coolstream please let me know
