New e55

Oil change is recent. Brakes and tires essentially new.
trans service?
rear diff service ?
brake fluid flush?
air / cabin filter?
check alignment though feels fine.
Also need another key as only came with one. should i have it made at the dealer or are there alternative options?
Thanks again and glad to be back on this forum!

Strigoi , Today 08:24 PMThe key is a dealer only option. Call around as prices can vary, but they aren't cheap.

Also check your serpentine belt, engine coolant. Definitely brake fluid, as it should be changed every two years anyway. Also check your idler pullies and belt tensioner for play.

Engine Coolant, Transmission Fluid and Rear Differential every 4 yrs.
Engine oil, air filter, cabin filter every year.
Have your serpentine belt and spark plugs checked.
And most people neglect their idler pullies.
I also have my AC refrigerant evacuated and refilled every 4 years, to keep the system lubricated and running cold.

But take care of the transmission soon, as that is roughly $450 for the full service. All other services are relatively cheap; i.e. engine coolant, brake flush, rear diff.

Don't take your car to a dealer, there are many independent shops that specialize in Mercedes, that can perform these services at a much cheaper price. Power steering fluid really doesn't go bad, as it is in a seal environment. But if it is not causing you any issues, I would leave it alone, just top it off. Unless you want to change it.
On my 07 E63, I have changed the following:
- Engine Coolant - last year
- Brake Fluid - last year
- Idler Pullies - last year

rear diff - $ 120
alignment ( if needed )- 170
Coolant flush - 120.
Service D ( showing that its due on the dash ) - 575 - includes oil change, brake fluid change, cabin filter, AC service, lube door jams, sunroof rales, check all belts hoses and pulleys...this is one as bit pricey, i think.
extra key - 250
The trans service is 580. So i dunno... adds up quick!
