Anyone buy a steering wheel CKM Car Designs before?
I'm starting to get a little worried though since it's been 3 months since my order and I don't have the wheel.
Chris from ckm has been quick to reply to my inquiries but hasn't given me any firm delivery date, etc. The wheel was supposed to take 5 weeks max.
I don't think I'm getting scammed but it's starting to feel like it.
Have any of you dealt with ckm before, especially related to a custom steering wheel?
Thanks in advance for any insights.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Here's the bigger issue:
The wiring was not correct and the airbag he sent didn't fit.
Took me a while to find a MB tech who was willing to fix the wiring issue for me. I had him install the wheel with the old airbag for now because that's a separate issue I need to address.
When I told Chris about this, his response was 'yea all the cars have different wiring' (untrue) and he told me to see the legit street car video for info on fixing the airbag issue

The construction of the wheel is nice. The electronics are jacked and the customer service is terrible.
I planned on installing this myself but incurred extra expense because of the mistakes CKM made that I couldn't fix.
F this dude.. I told him he can cancel my order and refund my money. Be careful dealing with this guy.

This is my wheel, after Ledermanz completed it, I asked him to take photos before shipping it to me.
This is Eddie at Benz Elite Automotive, transferring over my aluminum shift paddles.
These are the Alcantara covered paddles, that I didn't use. My old steering wheel with OEM airbag and these paddles are still at the shop.
My Alcantara covered airbag.
Installed and looks good, this was before I got my Carbon Fiber Interior trim installed
The Mercedes Star was painted in a high gloss black.
The black of the wheel is also covered in Alcantara
This wheel stands out, and yes that is a CF instrument cluster.
Everyone that looks at my car talks about the wheel and the CF trim
Fully covered in Alcantara.
Even the Airbag is embossed into the Alcatara. Who does that.......Ledermanz does!!
Also they do the horns as well.

How companies expect customers to just pay them hundreds of dollars, wait 3-5-10 weeks for a part and hope it’s the correct one without giving them the ability to speak to a human amazes me. I literally need about 90 seconds on the phone with them. If you don’t have 90 seconds for me, the customer, I don’t have 13minutes of my time to type emails or $386 for you. Sorry, for a minute I thought you wanted a new customer. Why would you want that?
Ledermanz would help with any instalation. There exist 2 types of wirings in earlier w211.
Thanks
But also, about 8 months ago I ordered an upgraded leather airbag cover and the work is very good. cant wait to get the matching wheel.
