Sunroof Frozen Shut Cable Corroded Manual Will Not Turn What’s Next?
2005 E55 W211 that the sunroof has not been opened in years. I do not want to bring it into the dealer, I want to do this myself. The manual turning mechanism moves a little in each direction and that’s it. I do not want to force it or strip it.
Before I remove the headliner or dismantle anything is there something that I can manually do to free it up? I cannot get it opened or tilted to oil anything. I cannot find any tutorials on this because I am guessing it’s not common. Any help would be appreciated.
