I would say the VRP secondary heat exchanger would be a good start, you keep your factory one and get increased cooling surface area as well as the capacity of the system, probably the best bang for your buck. VRP also offers a replacement heat exchanger with more volume. Make sure your intercooler pump is at least an updated Bosch 010 or better for lowest IATs.

PLM has a new larger heat exchanger that I believe requires no modifications to install. I was going to purchase that one when I get a chance. It's about 2.2l I believe. Then you can also had the secondary vrp heat exchanger too.

I'm pretty happy with the dTK heat exchanger. 3L capacity, flows great. I run that with two CWA50s to cool a 72mm fixed pulley for street and spray meth at the track. The welds aren't the cleanest and you have to relocate the horn. I had to trim a little bit off of the back of the hood latch bracket to get it to clear but overall I'm real happy with it.

+1 for the new PLM. The original PLM was easy to install, no drilling or bumper modifications required in contrast to the other options. Shardul can get you one.

You quoted the guy that can make it possible. Shardul is with a company called UPD, they sell lots of performance parts for Mercedes. PM or email him and he will make it possible.

Yep just send a private message. He mailed me one over to NZ. Unfortunately shipping will always be a killer on parts.
