E55 Brake Rotor Set question

E55 Brake Rotor Set question
Greetings,
I have a 2005 E55 that I plan to put brakes on. I ordered the factory rotors from ECS Tuning as they did not seem to be too much more than the Zimmermans. When they arrived I was disappointed to see that the two rotors are the same for each side of the car. Ie. It's the same part for left and right. The angled ventilating vanes in the middle and drill holes would be pointing in different directions since the same part is going on left and right side. Mercedes EPC only shows a rotor set part number so it's not much help. The packaging was also disappointing and does not appear to be from Mercedes.
The main question is this how it is supposed to be or have I been sold a bad set of rotors? My M3 and Tundra both have brake kits where there are specific left and right rotors. Especially with the directional vanes, I just can't see that being right. Hoping someone on here has some insight that can help when I call ECS on Monday.
I am new to the forum and have been lurking for many years. I bought my E55 in October 2018, a 2005 E55 with 60000 miles, thanks to everyone for the help!

I bought a set of rear rotor for $82 each from MB of Long Beach, is that expensive? I priced FCP aftermarket and they're a bit higher but had to wait for shipping. So elected OEM, good decision? I know FCP lifetime deal but....

Nah Mercedes still make good parts. If you can get Mercedes cheap it's great! Just lots of Mercedes parts are x2 or z3 or even x4 as expensive and not much better than aftermarket. On top of that locally dealership charge extra markup in New Zealand they horrible..

Thanks for the responses.
I took a good look through the wheels and realized that is how they are on the car as well. Had never noticed. They should be fine for the little bit of spirited driving I do. Most of the fun in the E55 does not involve the brake pedal anyway. 😉
If anyone has used them, Would the Zimmerman's have been the same way or are there left and right parts for those?
Thanks again,
Lee.

Nevermind, this thread was shown as similar and looks like even the pricey ones are similarly same-sided. Have to say this is baffling given the level of engineering shown on the rest of the car.
