Does E63 have an auxiliary battery? I replaced the main battery in the trunk, part # 005-541-10-01. Some Mercedes OE parts sites also show part # 211-541-0001 which is a auxiliary battery that fits 2007 E63. Where is this auxiliary battery located? I know it's not in the engine bay under the AC air filter. Thanks.

I thought it was only the E55 with the SBC battery.

No the 2007-2009 E63's do not have auxiliary batteries. Just the main battery mounted in the trunk.
I think that listing is for different type of battery.

Your welcome. If you ever have to replace your battery be prepared for a hernia, as this battery is freaking heavy.
My battery dead after 11 years of faithful service, so I bought another one from Mercedes.

Yes, it's super heavy. The dealer had to put it in the trunk for me. I didn't know it's that heavy until I replaced it myself. The old one lasted around 7-8 yrs that's why I decided to bought another OE one.

Someone told me to just go to Advanced Auto Parts and buy another battery. I said hell no, if this OEM battery lasted as long as it did, I'm definitely buying another. And not some battery that will only last me a few years.
