W211 E55/E63 Carbon Fiber Interior Trim

I'm dead serious, what else is there to do? I had all the dents removed, the body was paint corrected and ceramic coated. I have the wheels, that I want.
The stereo is banging. And soon, my interior will be done, thanks to you and your generosity.

😃

This was a big decision, because it drastically changes the look of the overall car. I think that it looks good.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG

The seller said that he will post photos of the new wheel, once he gets it this Thursday. So hopefully, he will get it in the mail by Saturday.
And I will have it sometime the following week, so that I can have my shop install it.
Only catch is you need to send your current trim backonce you install the CF (and he may need a core charge).
This is will save significant money (not necessary to remove and install trim twice) as well as hassle and time.
I took the the hit and bought a core set so you all didn’t have to😂😂😂😂😂😂
Honestly, with the amount we are seeing cracked wood trim this option is not only affordable, but is some of the best CF pieces I’ve seen.
Best $700 I’ve spent on my car since I bought it 11 years ago.

And I almost forgot this piece that Brian aka Worth the Wait gave to me. And the paint looks outstanding after the paint correction and ceramic coating

Hey William,
Got the fabric wrapped on all the pieces, just waiting on some more epoxy from my supplier so we can start getting it wet out (should be here today or Monday).
I’ll get you some pictures shortly.
Cheers,

And I talked to Ivan at DCT Motorsports, they are still working on the carbon fiber shift knob, should be ready in another two weeks hopefully.

Hello William.
Ledermanz said collection is booked on Monday so they will post it 100%.
Will be delivered to you next Wed/Thu.
Regards
Lev
Yes, I know that this wheel is missing it's leather/alcantara. I don't have any other photos besides these, I'm hoping that Lev has a some more to send me. But I do know that it won't look this way when it arrives next week.

I continue to be in awe of Matt's attention to detail and craftsmanship. I mean look how he lined up the carbon fiber so it transitions flawlessly from top to bottom, piece to piece.

That is awesome, especially now that you have Apple Car Play. And Matt is a genius when it comes to Carbon Fiber.
I talked to him last week, I should have my trim pieces back hopefully in two weeks.
It totally amazes me how he can get the carbon fibers to lay down, keeping that perfect pattern uniform.
And I'm supposed to receive the steering wheel tracking number from Ledermanz, later today.

And the seller expedited a replacement wheel, that Ledermanz made it record time. I got a email from them, informing me along the way.
The wheel was made exactly like the other one, but with gray alcantara to match my headliner, instead of black.
And the smaller shift paddles are covered in alcantara, which I'm going to switch over to the aluminum ones.

But you must use OCarbon to have your work done. If not then don't even bother.

That reminds me, I need to reach out to OCarbon and see if there near completion yet. It's been 3 weeks, so they should be wrapping up my trim pieces any day now.

They can make just about anything out a carbon fiber, once given the donor pieces. Well Matt just responded below.
William,
Still getting epoxy on the pieces, this will need some time to cure in the oven, so we still have a bit of a ways to go. After it cures though, most of the hard work will be done. I will get you some pictures shortly.

After I get my trim pieces back, I will have donor parts for whomever would like to undergo this process themselves.
