I've got an 07 E63 that I'm having trouble with the rear sunblind. Motor for both sunroof and sunblind are good, only problem is the plastic piece on right corner of the sunblind that slides along the rail is broken. So, one piece is sitting in the corner of the rail and that right corner of the shade won't close shut. My question is, anyone have success with gluing the piece back together? If so, what is the strongest glue on the market? That shade has a lot of tension on it, so it needs to be strong. I did see an older thread that others were having the same problem and they purchased the plastic rail kit. But, they had to remove the headliner and also sounds like they had a lot of trouble getting it back together. No where did I see anyone try to glue it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have the same problem with my 2009 e63. I have the repair kit but have no idea how to install the new plastic piece back in the groove on the roller shade rail. Can someone provide the easiest way to install these pieces?

Hi all
Reviving old thread. Same issue with the roller’s side plastic clips. Couldn’t find a good write up/video on how to install using the repair kit. Panoramic sunroof works well and the roller blinder was working well until one of the side plastic pieces snapped.
