Reason: Wass not finisht
thanks i have seen that and everybody is saying different things. And cant find there what i like to have
i just look for someone that has done what i like to do .
rear lip is about the most you'll be able to get. rolling or fender pull is pretty difficult on the W211, the rear sheet metal is 4x the thickness of other cars double wall rears. max width tire i'm able to run in the rear is 275 or 285 depending on brand. wish i could run a wider tire, but do enjoy the look of fender flush wheels. the fronts rub the outer fender arch in turns if a corner is loaded and i'm in sport 2. meaning if i'm putting some lateral G's into the turn at a reasonable speed and giving it gas at the same time.

thank you that is looking verry good.
when you go to comfort settings than the car rubs nowhere right ?

Why not just order the lowest offset that you've found already? People are all going to have different opinions on what fitment they like. Best thing to do is just calculate the fitment that YOU want, and order accordingly.
not possible to just choose an offset out of thin air. it took me 6-12 months to decide on the offset i wanted. did not know until after that if i were to have wheels with lower offset and the same width I'd have issues with tire contact with the rear fender which would be uncorrectable without cutting the metal out of my rear fenders, or having someone waste hours to shape the fender. factory height is fine, but when i run 1.4 inches lower the fronts rub the top of the front fender in anything more than a 25 degree turn. when i had wider rear tires but still the same 285mm they would come into contact with my rear fenders at factory height with road bumps which my body shop attempted to roll but gave up due to thickness of the metal and the deformation that would occur.
I measured and ordered some wheels within the week of getting my wagon. Once it got time to putting the wheels on the car, it was just a matter of rolling the fenders slightly for clearance. Granted, I'm running 19s instead of 20s for overall personal preference. Just saying that OP says he's done research and everyone says something different, but starting a new thread will have everyone else chime in with their different setups.
19's will fit with more offset than 20's. the lip doesn't reach as high to the fender. he's asking about 20's fitment. its fine. that old thread doesn't really have much directed information. nobody runs my size and fitment. i based it off CLS factory wheels as aftermarket CLS wheels will stick out past the fender of a W211.
