Best Mods for roll racing in Mexico

Curious if anyone has found success in roll racing mods. Just got a 76mm Pulley and leaning towards Meth. So much info on 1320 and not much on street fun.

anyone?

I do roll racing in PA. on the East Coast and have tested for a few years to get my system down with great results.
IAT max is 110* with custom ice tank set up at 17lb's boost with out fooling the IAT sensor and that is the key.
The killer chiller will not last the distance and has be tried.

So your running a trunk tank. How hard is it to run the lines back there?

I run two tanks. It is a pain in the *** to do and map out the lines in the best way possible and I put it off for a couple years until I realized it was the only way to go.
My system as far as I know was never done before and works absolutely fantastic.
Two tanks, three pumps, two coolers, single pass cooler for the blower.

I am out of my mind with this event !!!!!!! Insanely loud, insanely fast and have been addicted for a few years now.

My "unasissted" pass a while back.

Cool. Have fun. I saw your setup In another thread I saw in a search. I'm pretty sure you had an under the hood tank at one time. Do you think that would work for me. I will have an 86mm pulley new pump and HE . Usually only do one pull from 40 to 130 or so. I know the summer will make things difficult.

Looks like a fun time for sure.

No on the under hood tank. Not enough ice to last. The trunk tank is mandatory....or run two tanks.

Cooling is always going to be your friend, especially on longer runs. On the street you probably going to be run after run to.

I don't have a problem with that. But I do not set up races at all. This is total chance. If we are at a light yes. But 90 percent of the time it's when your moving. Done this since the 80s.

I did that running a 195 CP keeping my temps no higher than 90-100 in AL heat. Setup was far simpler KC>trunk tank>SC and running meth set to 8psi. Dyno tunef by Tony hitting 521/668.

KC works for the streets keeping temps to 60 in 90* heat. Pumping a tank full of cold *** water. Quick recovery. And yes KC won’t last a whole run which it why you use meth. Basics are 1* is equal to 1hp. So if you are not using a KC and starting at 80 you have “lost” 20hp. KC is like driving in the winter all the time but in the summer.

You can go all crazy with pumps, tanks and HE yet all that is more complicated than a simple setup like I used.

i don’t have time to keep ice in my car when I wanna race. I want to be game ready every second. Not be like “hold on I gotta get some ice before we run. Can we stop up ahead?”

agreed, KC & meth is good combo for cooling. But may I dare to add HSTC for launches, dead stop or rolling?

HSTC won’t hurt. Not sure how much it helped me since I had gears installed and LSD at the same time.
