$75,000 to spend on ANY car, what do you get???
The new SLK is worth looking at, the CLK55 is hot, the C55 would be nice because it is a 4 door CLK. Depends on what body style you are looking for.

So the other option will be a slightly used M3 with a supercharger on it to make similar numbers and lighter weight.

Regarding a $75K GOLF GTI, even if you one of the fastest, best handling cars (it would be great fun), your resale value will scary low when that time comes.
That thing will be SCAREY FAST!!!
I saw a video clip of a procharged Z06 vs a 9 sec Viper go at it from 50 mph to about maybe 170mph or so...couldn't tell...
But anyways...the video screen was on the speedo of the corvette and that thing took off like a rocket!
The Viper won the race of course after it used NOS

How about superchargig a used Viper?
Treynor has a super charged Viper I believe that is putting down 1000 RWHP
I wish I had options like these...
Thats my personal opinion

That's what Blocktrader drives, a supercharged Z06, when he's not using the E55. It was quite the sight at the track.
