Anyone have these on their E55? I currently have Goodyear Eagles and they are terrible..loud, poor cornering, etc. I installed a set of Indy 500s on my Mustang and they are awesome, plus they look badass. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with them.
I run them on the rears. I had continental got a flat and found out my tire was no longer made. These were really cheap on price. I love the look of the Indy 500 tire. Closer to the tread pattern of a drag radial. They seem to be holding up well. 5k miles so far. They grip close to the same, maybe alittle better when hot. Im going with them on all 4 eventually.
Yes the ride is good and quiet. I'm happy with them. I would recommend them. I bought them for the price at first but I'm glad I did. As long as they make them I'm sticking with them.
I had a set of them on a another sports sedan I own some years back, I did not like them at all. They seemed hard, lousy traction and wet traction was also bad.
Yes they are the same as the Bridgestone potenza re003 re-branded for the American market. They are great on the mr2. I won't be getting them again for the E55. Might try PS4 next.

I have them on my 2008 E63. I like them and they work well. They do flat spot if the car sits for a few days but then you drive it and it goes away. I would recommend them and I would buy them again.
My car came with some Conti ExtremeContact DW summer tires and actually I like them. They suit the car. I tried them on my CTS-V back in 2011 and I hated them. Upgraded to Michelin PSS on that car so kind of depends on application.

those are the Continentals I got when bought my car. Unfortunately they don't make them anymore. So instead of mis matching tires I did the Indy 500s in the rear after a flat. Personally I like them and they were 100 less per tire when I got them 2 years ago.
I have a stack of Indy 500s waiting for my BBS CI-Rs to get here. I work for Bridgestone and had never bought Firestone tires before, but amongst us car guys are work these tires seem to be the ones everyone prefers.
