2008 E63 clicking noise on Freeway

2008 E63 clicking noise on Freeway
I have a 2008 E63 that produces a clicking noise, almost like a rock in the tire, that I can hear on the freeway (the sound bounces off of the divider). The noise doesn't seem to be RPM related as I've tried maintaining the same speed while up/down shifting with no change to the frequency or duration of the noise.

I tried searching but didn't find anything.

any ideas?

I have the same problem. Comes and goes though. Seems like its coming from the front right on mine.

Let me first say, that I don’t know what is causing your issue, just throwing suggestion your way, as possible culprits.

2007 Mercedes E63 AMG
have a shop check all your bushings, ball joints, and wheel bearings. any that have movement could be the clicking. in my case the jungle gym sound was a frozen ball joint with zero movement.

doubting it's bushings or ball joints as the clicking noise is rhythmic regardless of the condition of the road. It sounds just like a rock in the tire.

I guess I'll start with wheel bearings and move on to bushings/ball joints if I don't find anything.
