PICS of Steering Wheel, Grille, Impact Strip, and Spoiler
Sorry about the lighting...it was starting to get hazy out...I'll take more pics of the car after the HRE547Rs...I ordered Brushed Aluminum center so I'm dying to see the results.

I don't like the front..... Are you trying to show off that you own a mercedes?????
It looks to much in your face... I like to keep things more settled and less noticing. The Mercedes eblem is way to big to be fitted on that car. It just doesn't flow right....
Nice steering wheel and spoiler.

The steering wheel is a bit thicker than expected and it does feel much heavier than stock when turning the vehicle.
The impact strips were very easy to pull off...the key is to take the yellow markers out first then it becomes much easier to remove. I opted to leave the bulb in and taped the light with double sided tape. We'll know tonight if the blinkers shine through the bottom where the mesh grille is by the fog lights.

The Steering Wheel is a nice complement as well, but I feel that you are maybe a little concerned about the heaviness.
I have the burl walnut interior, and i am thinking seriously about changing the wheel to match this trim. I think it would give a nice lift to the interior.

Looks great except for one thing, you've got to lose that ugly licence plate. The car has a much cleaner look without it. After spending $80,000 + for the car, what's another $100 every 2-3 years or so in fines when the look is much better. You spent more than twice that for the eurostrips.

i was told that only coupes or 2 doors except for the ML that has the star grille. and that all 4 doors or sedan have the hood star emblem.. but since the E55 is pretty much very sporty i don't mind that look.. to others it can be too much.. I'm thinking of doing the same but i might just take the star hood emblem off and go just with flat hood with no star grille.

Wow! What a coincidence! I'm from Fairfax! Shoot me an email and let's hook up. My HREs should arrive 1st week of Sept...Renntech getting done next week so you can take my car out for a spin and see the difference for yourself!
Dr Chill, I totally agree with you but the knuckleheads at the dealership and the front tag "pre-drilled" and I don't want to drive with the holes showing...I could honestly care less about the $100 tickets over the next year or so (I doubt I'll own this car more than 1 year)

Love the wheel but I dislike the grills on all the cars except the ones it was ment for SL and CL they dont look right in my opinion on the C-E-S Class's but thats just my opinion. Love the wheel MB should make this stock on the e55.

E55 POWER,
VERY nice grill and steering wheel! I have the exact same grill but it is black instead of silver. I am going to change it out since yours looks better.
Where did you get the flat hood pin?
I need to get that done too. Also how much was the steering wheel? Looks like we have the same wood pattern.
BTW, I am in Leesburg, we will all have to have a 3 car meet with Peter B in NOVA somewhere.
Thanks!
