Yeah the 4 point H brace is the only one that will make a really noticeable difference. Alot of performance bmw's have that sort of bracing on their front subframes.
You can make it all fit with the bellypans with spacers at the front and the trans cover is pretty good other than the front of the trans pan rear of the oil pan cover you probably need to put rubber bushings there and space it off with longer screws from memory.
I'm looking to improve the deficient handling of my E55 and this H brace seems to be an inexpensive, low-risk, and reversible way to help with that. Can anyone recommend a reliable retailer for Ultra Racing in the U.S.?
I’m going to install a cwa100 as well but wonder what is needed to install it correctly. I already have the bmw socket but wonder what wires I need and if I need a controller. How did you hook yours up?

i built my own wire harness for the pump, using thicker cables, cause the stock pump uses 0,5mm² cables which go from the rear (Sam rear) to the front and the pump is only engaged, when the intake temp is above 40°C.
I used following parts:
0,75mm² black cable for +
0,75mm² brown cable for ground
I used fuse terminal F51 on the front fuse box, which is ignition + and wasn't used. Put in a 10A fuse and connected my wiring to Plug C1 Pin 9 which connects to Fuse F51. The wire runs to the pump from there, goes into Pin 4 of the pump (+) and Pin 1 on the Pump is ground. I used the ground connection somewhere under the SBC pump.
For mounting is used the W212 E63s mounts, but i have no pics of that atm.

You can see how the camshafts just keep the power going till redline. Usually the power drops at around 5500rpm where these engines make peak power. Metrics are PS and Nm. 572PS @6500 rpm, and drive train lies is about 102PS so 470 on the wheels. With my headers, cams and throttle body it's very close to a stock clk dtm engine. With different pistons and a bit more compression of come very close to it I think

I forgot to say, these numbers are on a stock 0580 Supercharger with a stock pulley milled from 91 to 88mm. Crank pulley is stock and no belt wrap kit.
I wonder if a SL55 Mj2002 intercooler would perform better 🤔 I'm curre tly using the stock one with a plate on the bypass opening
Because of the low boost. Once you add a bigger crank or smaller sc pulley the torque goes up to around 800-850Nm. The cams also sacrife a bit of torque.
Has anyone by chance measured stock boost? I never measured it on mine with the stock size pulley
No, that's too much boost for my liking. I think the intake temps would go up too much on the Autobahn and the wear is definitely not good for the supercharger. I'd also need a bwk with such a pulley
Yeah I think SL55 cooler with power steering cooler will be the best fit, but it won't be plug and play. Please share your results once you've changed your setup, will be interesting to see
I'm not done with this retro fit, but I can report some info.
I do have the SL55 HE (can't remember if I had mentioned that) with the additional oil cooler. I have removed the bracketry for oil cooler and mount that cooler to the face of the HE with bolts through the coils. I have taken apart enough of my car to dry fit this HE in front of the condenser to confirm the condenser tube can run between the HE and the condenser as it currently is. The final step of this plan is to mount the HE to the condenser the same way you did with the S55 HE. With this configuration the stock power steeing cooling coils will be eleminated which will allow for easy location of the SL55 HE in that space and the oil cooler that came with the SL55 HE will be in front of the HE and used as the PS cooler.
Some details on the SL55HE. The overall sizing is: 620mmW x 410mmH x 27mmT. The coil alone is 585mmW x 407mmH x 24mmT. The measured capacity of this HE is 1,000mL. I was surprised and very pleased with the volume of it. The next step in the plan is to use the larger PLM under bumper type HE (similar to stock) to replace the stock unit, The combined volume of these two HE would be a total of 2,600mL.PLM XL HE is 1,600mL and the SL55 HE is 1,000mL.
I too own a Japanese spec and still stock with just wheels changed. What interested me most is the CLK DTM throttle body. This has been in my wishlist but I’ve been concerned on how it would work without the byepass valve without programming.

Went to schöne Sterne (biggest Mercedes meet in Europe) yesterday and found a twin of my car. Talked a bit with owner and took some pictures, I thought I would share here. His car looked exactly like mine two years ago, even with the window tint, so it was like travelling back in time.
