active corning xenon headlights
How does one detect if they have active corning headlights.
its 2006 e55

crack drivers side headlight frame want to replace both sides.
Xenons are expensive but if I have to I will but have seen discussions about conversions to halogens, is that viable?
Anyway please ask questions if necessary and thanks it advance.

yeah I can. It’s pretty easy to do either a lens swap or replace the whole projector once it’s open. The brand new hosings were a pain to open I am told. I had to have a friend pull them open for me bc I hurt a finger on my right hard and wanted to get it done finally.
so I will get them in the coming days and then remove the projector and swap in the Morimoto EVO-R and will adjust the lens spacing if needed to get a sharper focus but I don’t think I will needs that.
I will be using the Osram CBB bulbs bc they look amazing and damn close to newer LEDs. Below is the CBB bulbs on our LR3 that I a did a simple ZKW clear lens swap, few spacers to get razor sharp and a small adjust to the shield.
