I am really torn between pewter and flint grey. Other than the company website which seems pretty off in terms of accuracy of colors, I have not seen a picture. Any help which be much appreciated.

The Flint Gray is nice, kind of a Blue-Gray metallic. IMO, miles better than Pewter which is like a Brown-Champagne. Good luck...

Pewter has a very slight brown in it, I highly recommend seeing the cars in person. I was going to get granite grey but found out the color sample is completely different from the real thing.

Saw a new Flint Gray ready for delivery when I brought my '05 Pewter in for service on Monday. IMO, the Flint Gray looked a bit dull compared to the Pewter.

Seriously, f*** the color - it's all good if it pleases YOU.

Pewter OWNS! My car looks like glass after a nice wash, very very classy.

It couldnt have been a Flint Gray E55, as I am getting the first one to hit these shores! I wish I could at least see some car in it before I get it, but from what I have been told and from the 8x11 color sample that its a shade lighter than tectite gray. I expect it to be like that, but not necessarily like the sample. As logn as it doesnt have the brown hue like pewter, ill be happy.

In any case, Last week my car was waiting to be exported, so I think in 3 weeks I will be posting pics of the United State's first Flint Gray E55.
I will post pics as soon as I get them!

A guy in my neighborhood has a CLK500 in Pewter and it's an awesome color. Very classy looking.

Themis:

From the sample, did it look like a bluish grey or flat grey?

From the sample it looked like a just standard metallic grey. More similar to the grey metallic that like Audi uses.
