Negative, Ghostrider! Tremendous variations in the 722.6 series.
OP, go to mbepc.net and search by your VIN. That will pull up the data card for your particular car and it will show you which version of the 722.6 is installed in your car. That is what you will need. Be advised the newest 722.6 transmissions available in a salvage yard will be at least 15 years old. If it were me, I would look at a quality rebuild.

It would be where it says GA? It shows two transmission codes.

I checked the website again and on one page of the website it shows the two codes like on the other screenshot I posed but now it shows only one code on another part of the website. From further research it seems like the ones ending in 636 are for non supercharged amgs and 643 are for supercharged ones. The problem is I cannot find 643 ones for sale most of them are 636 which I do not know if they will work..

I'm fairly sure all US based 211 E55 used the 722.643 trans. The salvage yards are full of those. Are you in the US? I just did a quick eBay for a 2005 E55 and got this along with a bunch of others: https://www.ebay.com/itm/28445957950...0AAOSw3YdhSR9c

Yeah I have seen that one but where have you seen them in salvage yards? I have searched around my area (Miami) and have not found any old amgs only non amg ones.

You may need to broaden search area to to the US. Lots of salvage yards sell on eBay so keep an eye their. Larger national salvage yard owners like LKQ (several yards in almost every state plus Canada). Why are you looking for a trans? Something not right about yours?

I suggest before you buy an unknown used transmission you consider having yours rebuilt by a top trans shop. Do a search here on swapping out the trans for a salvage yard unit and the failure rate of the replacement. There was a recent disussion on just that here on this forum.
