Gas smell is back(not sure it ever went away)

I've already had the tank replaced under warranty, the charcoal filter, filler neck, purge valve, pressure dampener, and rear seat pads replaced in 2017/2018. I don't drive the car regularly, but if I drive it for maybe an hour and half or so I can still smell gas. I ignored it the 1st couple of times hoping that it would go away or I'm just imagining it but it's getting worse. I can smell the fumes in the car and much worst by the filler cap coming out of what I think is the charcoal filter opening next to the gas cap. Anyone else still having issues with this or have any suggestions on what to look at before I go back and try to deal with the dealer?

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Remove the rear seat. Remove the two metal lids underneath the rear seat. Look for gasoline pooled on top of the fuel pumps (passenger side) or fuel filter/regulator (driver's side). If none, it is not the tank, it is the evap system or the filler neck.

I have a similar issue. Tanks are clean but smell gas when the car is running. Gas smell goes away when the car is off. I scanned and got code P0444.

That is definitely an evap system issue since that's an evap code. Of course, theoretically a bad seal at the fuel tank access covers could trigger an evap code. But that code seems to be a circuit code so probably just a purge solenoid or something.

I'll look at it again, but I've lifted the seat cushion and didn't get any smell there so I didn't go further, it's really strong at the fuel filler cap. My guess is the fumes aren't being burned off sufficiently and it's overwhelming the charcoal filter. Why, I don't know as all the components are relatively new as I mentioned.

Did you have a CEL, or only saw the code after a scan? Have you been able to fix it? Do you have the smell all the time or like me only after driving the car for an hour or more?

I'm having the same problem after an hour or more at highway speeds. Is your car modified? Do you happen to have a larger throttle body installed?
