Tire Rack was selling the OEM 19" AMG rims for a limited time about 4-5 motnhs ago. I am not sure if they still have them in inventory. When I ordered mine, they did not show up on the website but they did still a few left. Great service and quick

I dont have the setup yet, but my next mod in store is the 65 AMG edition 3 piece AMG wheels with the grey painted centers. I am then going to paint all badges (ie. E55, AMG, V8 Kompressor) grey in order to match the center of the wheels. I'll post pics when I end up doing all of it.

PeterB:

Sorry for the delayed response. We lowered the car by modifying the ABC suspension system with the spacers and altering the rear sensor (new sensor so stock one can be reinstalled when the owner decides to sell the vehicle). For more information on the car, please feel free to check it out here... http://www.automotivespecialist.net/..._03mb_e55.html . If you have any questions, feel free to contact me via pm or email.

Damnnnnn...please post that and tell me the total cost...based on dealer those rims are $2300 apiece. I would have loved to get them too if the price wasn't so prohibitive to my meeting my mortgage, utilities, food, etc...right now I have the hyperblack 19" Maya STM's on order.

Some great looking wheels here. Anyway, can't comply with the E55 request, but here is an E500 with some 19" 841's for you to see. One of the pictures doesn't have the caps yet, however.

Good luck.

Funny you mention that. I was at the showroom at Beverly Hills MBZ a few weeks ago and for some reason they had a whole bunch of 500 series cars with AMG packages in the shop. Not only did the cars have AMG packages, they had AFTERMARKET parts too that WERENT AMG. It was by far one of the strangest things ever. Anyway, on an E500 AMG I noticed it had the 3-piece wheels with the grey centers. A rep on the floor at the showroom told me that they were actually the normal silver rims, and had been painted grey BY the factory. So technically, although they werent exactly the 65 series wheels, they were still OEM with OEM paint and an OEM warranty as well. He quoted me at $4,300 for a full set. Its a good way to get around dishing out lots of $$ just for a name

At MB of Tampa, they have several MB's tricked out with several aftermarket mods (a lot of Lorinser bodykits/rims) for sale. Anyway...that's cool about the OEM rims being painted grey for you...will they be close to the gunmetal look of the 65's...they really setoff the car!!!!

Yeah, thats wierd. I had no idea that MB dealerships sold cars with aftermarket parts. Anyway, yeah the wheels will be painted with the same exact color paint that is used on the 65 rims. I honestly thought that they were the actual 65 series until the rep told me otherwise. Ask the dealer in Tampa if they'd do the same for you. I'm sure they would. But yeah, they do set off the car. At first when I first saw the CL 65 I thought it was hideous but after about 30 seconds it was the coolest thing I'd ever seen. I cant wait... Don't get your hopes up though, I'm not planning on getting the wheels for a few more months.

Best bet would be to check with your local MBZ dealer.

Hey Eleanor Owner,

There are a couple more pictures in this thread.

https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w211/73955-spoiler-e-class.html

Anyway, that is the OEM spoiler. However, I think Jerry at Formymercedes.com has them for $329 painted here:

http://www.formymercedes.com/mb_resu...ry=Lip+Spoiler

Looks the same to me, but I can't tell exactly.

Good Luck.
