By the way, the total price tag was around $750 for the spoiler, paint and installation. Definitely worth it in my opinion!

Thanks guys,

My dealer has finally got me a price 198 plus VAT thats £232 sterling after i convinced them one did exist.
The spoiler may come unpainted, dealer is checking that out, if so thats another 100 plus sterling, plus fitting of 100. So cost around 450 sterling.

I sure the one from MBUSA is available colour coded so may be same from MBUK.

I thought Brabus did one too, so will enquire further on Monday.

Luxury did you get it painted or was it colour coded?

I guess 750 dollars is around 400 sterling so the price is about right. The spoiler is £232 sterling over here.

When I bought my CL grille from ForMyMercedes.com, Jerry sent a picture along of a spoiler he was going to be stocking. It's not listed on his site yet but I bet if you were to email him, he'd be able to help. The spoilers were available all painted so it would be just a matter of installation.

Thanks!

It is a dealer install of the MB option. Similar to the wood/leather steering option, the website quotes about $400, but if it is a dealer install, it has to be painted and installed so it comes out to about $700 or so. Regarding the steering wheel, it doesn't quite make sense to me - $450 or so factory, and $750 dealer install. You can probably install it in 10 minutes.

Maybe they are charging you for a wheel alignment, as well

That's probably the first rear spolier that I think add to the appearance of the car.

Thanks! Those were actually the first pictures, other than the signature picture. I've only had the car for 3 weeks, so I was going to wait until I put some exhaust on, and got some 19" wheels before I posted some full pictures. I just bought the 18", and am upgrading already. Kind of a waste, but 'oh well'.

Thanks,

Mine did not come painted so it was $750 USD including the spoiler, paint and installation.

Best looking one so far, however I think it would look better if it didnt wrap around on the sides so far. should cut off maybe 3-4" sooner, closer to trunk lid

I was thinking the exact opposite. I love the way it wraps around and reminds me of the older F-Body's.

Before I got the car, I actually just liked the clean lines of the rear. I had never seen the spoiler on the new E-class, except on the website which is hard to envision. I asked the dealer first, and the installer said they were pretty subtle in appearance. Essentially, I took a chance, and actually think it looks better in person than in the pictures. I'm not that much of a spoiler person, and I would never put a wing on my Porsche - unless of course I had the twin turbo.

Agreed that it looks better in person. I also rolled the dice having only saw it on the web-site but it was worth it. I get a lot of compliments on it. And Brav, you might like the CLK one better as it doesn't wrap as far around (only covers the trunk). You might be able to find a different type through Brabus and Lorinser...

those are too $$$. I bought mine spoiler(which is a replica spoiler of Lorinser style) from some guy on Ebay. He will paint it for you. You just need to find a experience body shop to install it for you($20). I think this is the link.

the quality is good and fit perfectly. I think you can bargain w/ him on the price. I will say. $250 shipped..... Good luck.

Brabus has just introduced a rear deck spoiler for the W211. It looks pretty much the MB stock ones, but without the side pieces.
