E55 AMG new wheels
So unfortunately, my '04 E55 has a crack in a rear wheel. I'm going to use this opportunity to get some really cool new forged ones and I'm wondering for those of you that have gotten new wheels: what measurements/specs did you have to know when ordering these?
What I do know is that the users manual shows my stock setup which is staggered with 8jx18eh2 in the front with 30mm offset and 9jx18eh2 in the back with 39mm offset. stock brakes and unmodified suspension. I tried searching for some threads but couldn't find anything on this specifically although there are plenty of vendors with what look like nice forged sets

I went with 19x8.5 front and 19x10 rear with a 35 offset, as my wheels have a slight concaved effect, the rears are more pronounced. But any wheel manufacturer will know the specifications, for a correct fitment.

I cracked 2 wheels and did the same. I liked the fitment of cls55 wheels and went with similar specs on mine:
19x8.5 +28 245/35/19 F & 19x9.5 +25 275/30/19 R
There is not much room in the rear but i have no rubbing anywhere.
To keep fitment consistent, you would need to add +6 for every half inch wider you go
for example: 9" front rim should be ~+34 and a 10" rear should be +31

Here's a pic of the rear with the suspension compressed. v close but no rubbing
and a pic of the front because i like it

couple more recent shots. about the wheels...i bought them +35 in the rear to play it safe but after after a bit more research and seeing other cars with more flush fitment i slapped a 10mm spacer on in the rear and have been happy since

sorry, it's a little confusing. let me try to better explain. the +34 would be for the front since my 8.5 are +28 and +31 for the rear since my 9.5 is +25
1 inch is ~ 25.4MM.
if you step up rim size by .5" and offset remains the same, then the wheel will stick out .25"(6mm) more on the inside and outside. so if you wanted the fit to be consistent(on the outside), the offset should be increased by 6mm.
For example, if you wanted a wheel to have similar fitment as mine in the rear (19x9.5 +25) you would need to have the below offset:
10": +31
10.5": +37
11": +43
I'm not sure about the inside clearances and not all tires are created equally so these are rough estimates.
