I've got just about 8K miles on my '04, and it seems to still be having lifter ticking noise that is quite pronounced. It is most prominent when fully cold or fully hot. This car is never abused, raced, etc. Mainly my wife's grocery getter. Just wondering if anyone else notices this ticking noise. To me, it does not sound like a supercharger gear lash noise, nor anything like rod knocking.

She can drive quite well, so the car is in good hands. She's got quite a few laps under her belt at TWS and MSR in both front and rear engined steeds.
