E55
Gabri 343 - Am I supposed to be wowed? - those are comparable numbers to the E55. Of course you can only get those numbers a few times with your M5 before the launch control shuts down. And you still have to be seen driving the thing - FUGLY!! Here's a dime - go call someone who cares.

That's the biggest thing... it just doesn't look good to my eyes. I like the previous M5 a LOT better.

Looks like BMW has done a good job and finally M5 may be able to keep up with E55 as you forgot these numbers:

Yeah, quite a few problems. Most likely a 2006 model introduced in North America in fall 2005. A year or so away.

Thank God I didn't wait for it. I would have exactly enjoyed my 2004 E55 for two solid years before the M5 even comes into the equation.

It must have been hard for the BMW fans having to wait so long. So, until then, bye bye E39 M5, bye bye any BMW.

The beast is great. I was just making lots of calls using my keypad while stuck in traffic this morning, and I realized how impossible it would be to live with the keypadless phone in the 5 series.
