![Question](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
I just took delivery of my new 2005 E55 and I love it. However, like everyone else in this forum I am now addicted to the power of the monster under the hood. I can't believe I am saying this, but I want more. I heard you can reprogram the computer, change the pullies and headers to get an extra 50-80 hp. However, I am worried about voiding the warranty on the engine. I found a company called Brabus that has the coolest looking system, K8 using 4 pullies and chip to deliver 530 HP (picture posted). They provide a full warranty to match the manufacturer, but they want $15K installed. I found another shop that does unbelievable custom work and they want $10K for the chip, 3 pullies and headers, not as sexy as the Brabus but they claim 550+ HP. I posted the pictures of the headers. Let me know the best tuning kits out there or any suggestions you have besides stop being ridiculous and enjoy the 480 hp I already have.

MBWorld Fanatic!
Check out Renn-Tech's staged upgrades. For about $5K, you will get 40 more hp and 45 lb-ft more Torque. Their kits are warrented as well. For a few K more, you can pick up some headers as well and then you will be making big (well...bigER) power! Also, get a pair of K&N filters. You will have to order them direct from K&N or from an online distributor for K&N and the part number is 33-2859. People have seen 20-25hp increases on the dyno from just these filters! I put them in my E55 and obviously its hard to feel 20-25hp extra when your car already makes so much power, but I can definetly say that the revs rise noticeably faster and the car is just more responsive. Good luck and congrats on your new beast!

The kit i was talking about only has the ECU and pulley upgrade for the 40hp gain.
There are lots of other packages renntech offers, just the ECU alone, ECU, pulley, exhaust. Or you can go crazy for the upgraded supercharger and intercooler upgrades, which is about 100hp gain.

Great Posting - Thanks
Wow 610 HP. This was a terrific posting. Very informative. Kleemens website is terrific. I love their staged approach and their chrome headers are beutiful. I couldn't find any prices, but will research it today. For anyone else viewinig this thread it is actually www.kleemens.dk
Also check out the car configurator part of the website, you put in your make, model and year and select your perfromance stage and corresponding horsepower. Pretty cool.

Thanks again for the pertinent and helpful info.
