when I turn off the esp, I want to warm up the tires, but the motor does not pick up speed. which block is responsible for this?

You have to put the car in Dyno mode. Search and you will be rewarded.
I hope you have some spare change for the potential damage to your car. Several videos out there when the E55 goes sideways and into the weeds.
There was one fellow, I cannot recall his handle, that had a drift car that he custom built. If you search you might find it. Hopefully, others will chime in on this thread. He had an awesome drift car and he put a lot of time and effort into it.

This place is a joke.
2005-2006 won't allow burnouts. 2003-2004 will. Something was changed in the ESP programming on those later years. Do a search, this has been covered before.

no, it's not convenient for me in dyno mode. I need to warm up the half-slicks before starting.

I think that this is not the only way. Perhaps replacing the esp block will help.

I think it's TCU related. Do you have the stock transmission control unit?

indeed. There was a short while where my ESP wasn’t working at all on my CLS55 because of a faulty wheel speed sensor, and so the car had no ESP, ABS, or power steering. I drove the car that way for about 3 months.

One morning, on my way to work, it wasn’t raining but the roads were relatively wet. I was sitting at a stop light and as soon as the light turned green, I slowly rolled into the gas and started to roll into it harder. At about 3500 rpm, the rear wheels completely gave and my car did a full U turn into the opposite lane of traffic. Luckily there was no barrier in the middle of the road or cars coming. Managed to counter steer and didn’t slide into the curb. Man, that was embarrassing.

I have not tested this with working ESP, however tomorrow morning I will turn ESP off and try it. Because my E550 wouldn’t burn tires either with ESP off. Didn’t seem like a lack of power but rather the electronics were preventing it from doing so.

yes. it interferes with the electronics. the fuel supply is reduced when your foot is on the brake pedal

Curious on the desire to do burnouts. Is this a drag strip reason o warm up tires before a run? .

Hmmm.... I never had issues painting stripe in my ratty ‘06 E55. Turn the fun police off and be careful to not throw the car away.
