California Compliant Catalytic Converters?

Alternatively the car may have to go for sale. I dont want to find myself on the wrong side of california code and end up with it in state possession.
I understand compliance by inconvenience...but Cali sets the bar to level 11 absurd if say the military brings you to a state with weird laws.

With that said, I can't really say you have any grounds to complain that Cali has a weird law, they just want maximum compliance. I'd have no trouble passing as my cats are all stock and I still have them and they still work.
Think about it, it's the exact same thinking of criminals who get caught, their thinking is that they would have gotten away with it if it weren't for whatever, but maybe they shouldn't have done the crime in the first place instead of griping about things.
