So apparently I been driving around for a year with a crack pipe stashed in my car...
Ok so the other day I slightly dropped my lower dash to inspect my intermediate steering shaft and saw the CGW wrapped in a plastic bag and thought it was drugs, I could t figure out how to get the panel all the way off so I buttoned it back up cause I didn't really have much time. Well.......Today I removed the entire panel and out of somewhere in it possibly the AC vent fell this little guy....For those of you that don't know, it's a crack pipe.😐 The previous owner I don't think was a crack head but her brother who was with her when I looked at it the first time was definitely a drug addict.
First of all, let me tell you I'm law enforcement for my occupation and could you imagine if I got stopped and this fell out of a drug dog hit on my car? Who would believe this story??I would be getting arrested for drug paraphernalia and probably lose my job...Now I gotta go thru this car with a fine tooth comb, cause I been driving around for about a year with this **** in there. 😳😳😳
Yep. Be careful. Many years ago I purchased a car and weeks later found weed under the back seat. I somehow doubt the police would believe it was in the car when I bought it and I never knew...
I was a new car dealer tech for my whole career. A tech in our shop got a minivan in for inop a/c. He diag'd an inop blend air door. So he removes the dash (Chrysler) and low and behold a kilo of (later found to be) coke was jammed atop the air handler box, interfering with the door works.
Came to find out, the minivan was bought at a police auction as it was seized from a drug bust.
The police came and picked up the kilo.
I got arrested like that for a roach in the ash tray of an rx7 I bought years ago. I don’t smoke that, and hadn’t cleaned the car out. It went to mayors court, and I was very vocal about the my ignorance and innocence towards this particular situation. The arresting officer certainly was out for blood.

Yes he was. It was 25 years ago or so, when marijuana wasn’t the miracle drug it is now, but I had looked in the ash tray the day before, and it didn’t dawn on me what it was . He pulled me over for no license plate, as I drove 400’ down the service road, from my apartment to my local coffee shop to get my morning coffee.
My fault for no plate ,but I got a trip to the lockup that Sunday morning for drug possession, and I believe the ash tray was a paraphernalia charge as well. I’m no angel when it comes to moving violations, but I don’t smoke weed.
After being rather vocal and angry in the Mayors court, the charges were changed to some lesser non drug charges. I never got my ash tray back, it was taken as evidence. The Mayor was really baffled as to why I wouldn’t just pay the fine for this misdemeanor charge, when I have plenty of other speeding and such tickets on my record. We essentially argued for 10 minutes about this, before I got pretty mad about the fact I don’t take part in this drug, or any others besides alcohol.
I can only imagine your paraphernalia being located by anyone but you, maybe you can get the K9 to assist in a search of the rest of the car.
