E55 AMG 8 pistons caliper torque spec
Hello everyone!
I need help from you guys. It's been awhile now that I am hunting for torque spec data for those caliper and I can't find anything online on google. I installed those 8 pistons caliper on my 1990 Supra and I want to properly torque them. For my car, I have the full shop repair manual so it's super easy but for the MB it seem to be quite hard to find anything, im I crazy? hehe
I need to find the torque spec for :
1. Caliper to bracket (10mm allen bolt)
2. Bracket to hub (M14x1.5 bolt)
3. Brake hose fitting to caliper
Thank you very much for help!

Thank you very much sir
i see they strictly say to not remove the caliper from the bracket. But I reslly
had to so I hope it doesn’t cause any problem. It confirm me that I really need to find the torque spec. I will put locktite on them before torquing them down.

Before tightening the bolts press the brake so the caliper engages the pads and then tighten the bolts, while the brake pedal is pressed. That way the caliper will be correctly aligned

-Caliper bolts are one-time use. You should run a tap through the threads to remove the old microencapsulation compound before you install the new bolts. Be advised these are high-torque bolts; when they break loose they break loose suddenly!
---Front bolts A001-990-08-14 (~$12 for a pair); torque to 180 Nm (133 ft-lbs). You'll need a 14mm x 1.5mm tap for these threads.
---Rear bolts A211-423-00-71 (~ $10 for a pair); torque to 115 Nm (85 ft-lbs). You'll need a 12mm x 1.5mm "plug" tap for these threads. This type of tap has a short nose. A "taper" tap will hit the brake shield before cleaning the threads.
Info is in the WIS (Workshop Information System). If you have STAR/Xentry, you should have WIS on your computer as well.

Thank you for help. I will check to buy the manual as you suggested. I don't need rear torque spec since I only have the front caliper.
I did bought new hardware in grade 10.9. I will put locktite on the thread to be sure. I still need to find brake hose to caliper and the 10mm allen bolt that hold the caliper to the bracket.

Hello guys. Found everything on the WIS. Took a 1 month subscription worth 100% of it.
Caliper to steering knuckle = 180nm
Caliper to bracket retainer = 120nm ( Part number A0039907905 )
Caliper brake hose = 18nm
