I put a WTB on the marketplace for an E55. It is amazing how many scammers have reached out to me. Quite frankly, I guess I’m not surprised in today’s day and age.
So with that being said, if any anybody on this forum has a clean 05 or 06 E55 they are thinking about selling, please feel free to let me know. Otherwise, I’ll just wait for BAT or C&B to have a listing that I get interested in.
And to be clear, anybody who sends me an instant message, who is not a long time poster and forum member, I’m just going to delete.

Actually I put mine up for sale just a few days ago. I put it up on FB Marketplace, Cargurus, Craigslist and here of course. This was the first place I put it up since I enjoy these forums and people and would love for the car to go to an enthusiast.
It's the first Mercedes that I learned to mod quite a bit. Spent many many hours researching the stuff I did and have shared a bunch on these forums just look up my screen name and you will see a bunch of stuff. I love the car but I have too many things now. I have an SL65 AMG that I am trying to decide if I should keep or sell also. Anyway, the E55 should go. I can't keep it garaged nicely and give the attention that I used to. I have an Indian Scout for Sale too lol!

I did see yours. You’re definitely legit. I actually put a WTB in the marketplace, which led to all of the scammers.
That being said, I’ve looked at your car a lot. It’s not exactly what I’m looking for, but may end up reaching out. Definitely a nice car.

I wouldn't sell that car ... those types of AMG cars are only going to appreciate especially as they become much more rare and scarce. Nobody should sell an appreciating asset unless you don't have $ for food and a roof over your head...

OP - try AutoTrader or Hemmings or BaT.

 

I know you're looking for an 05-06 but I have an extremely nice 04 that just turned 50k miles. 1 owner all stock unmolested California car all it's life until my purchase back in March of last year I believe. Recently serviced including Supercharger oil changed.
Was considering a BaT listing myslef in the next month or so. Extremely clean car through and through. VMI report shows regular maintenance throughout it's life.

Damn. Should have came here first. I literally just sold my 06 E55 for $10,000 cash. It's been just sitting there (have only put 1,000 miles on it in the last 5 years. Didn't realize these were such hot commodities.
