I finally bought my dream car!
But enough about that. I’ve dreamed about an E55 for over ten years now, and I’ve spent countless hours on different forums reading about them. But every time I’ve come close to buying one, something else has always caught my attention. Last time it was a Corvette, and before that it was a Toyota MR2.
This time I followed through, I sold my Vette and bought a plane ticket the week after to pick up a beautiful 2004 E55 with pretty much every option you could ever want. Bi-xenon, distronic, ventilated seats with massage, H/K and a lovely Designo interior in leather and alcantara. Not too many miles either with just 81k on the clock.
This is my forever car, hope you guys enjoy!
(And yes, this is the car that lost a rear tire on the Nürburgring, I’m sure you’ve all seen the video lol.)
Thanks!
love that interior. i had no idea this was an option. cool to see what was available in markets outside the US.
Enjoy!

It wasn’t that bad, besides the obvious it also had a fender replaced. But it’s as good as new now, previous owner had it done at a workshop.
Another fun option is the electric tailgate. Euro spec cars didn’t have the option of a third row so we got the tailgate instead.

Anyways good to see, that the car is back on the road again. It looks gorgeous!
Thanks man!

On my way back from picking it up I stopped at a gas station, and when I came out a dude asked me if it was a real 55, and when I told him yes he asked me if I wanted to sell it (he was apparently a car dealer). I told him straight up that this car will never be for sale.
Good on you man, how has the ownership been? Have you had any problems?
