Yonge & North York Center... Nope.. Wasn't in that area today. Was out in the west end all day. Darn, and I thought blacked out E55s were rare.

Did you put winter tires on your E55 ??

I have to say I am very impressed with the way the car handles in the snow with these Dunlop Wintersport tires. Never had Dunlop tires before these ones and even though they are winter tires, they ride quieter than the stock continentals and the snow traction is awesome!!

If you havent put tires on, I really recommend them.

BobCanada,

I bought the M2 because I thought the tread pattern was better for snow traction.. I am sure the M3 are great also.

I used my stock AMG wheels and put 245/40/18 on all 4 corners. Everyone recommended same size on all 4 so that is what I did.. Besides, since they are all the same size I can rotate them every year and get better tire wear. With the staggered setup you have to keep replacing rear tires when they wear out.

I am going to buy new 19" wheels this spring so I will keep my stock wheels for winter use.

JTS,

Nice to see another Torontonian on here. Welcome!! Post some pics of your car if you can.

Here's mine...2003. Only option is HK sound. I have had the car since July 2003 and it has 28k km. I am very pleased with it and dont know if I shoud keepit after my lease is up? I paid 20k down and my payments are 1300/mth tax in. (3yr lease)? Buy back @69K. (All figures in CDN $)....

you will have paid: 20K + (36 x 1300) + 69K = $138,500 if you decide to buy it out?
= ~$115K american...isn't that a little steep?

Looks great.

I tried selling mine late this summer because I was trying to grab a black SL65 that Aurora Mercedes had. I was getting low-balled and the market seemed to be too low for me to warrant selling it so I decided to keep it for now and re-evaluate in the spring.

I am not sure what your/my car will be worth with 50,000Km - 60,000Km?? You've got alot of money tied up in it, but I am not sure if paying $70K to buy it out is a good idea either.

The $20K and $46.8K (36 * 1300) are figures which include tax. Divide that by 1.15 to get the before tax figure: $58,086.

$58,086 + $69,000 = $127,086

His car with no options probably MSRP'd at $120,000 so he paid a $7,000 interest premium for leasing it for 3yrs. All figures in CDN.

If he is doing it through a business then it is tax deductible anyways..

Welcome to my world!!!

That's one of the downsides of living in one of the most expensive parts of Canada.. Toronto and Vancouver are both 2 cities which have a high cost of living. We pay ALOT of taxes here.

I guess I shouldn't tell you that if you live in Toronto and earn more than $60,000 per year of personal income you are in a 42% tax bracket?
